I came across a blog that had this wonderful quilt and all the ladies were working on it and showing photos of their progress. The pattern is made from an antique quilt called "The Bird of Paradise Quilt". When I saw the blocks I just knew I just had to make it, along with the 30 other quilts I'm working on. So I order the pattern and could hardly wait to start. I finished my first 6 blocks and have 3 more nearly finished. Only 11 more and 4 borders and I'll be done. Maybe some time in 2012?

I too am making the CWBQ. Very slowly as there are so many calls on my time at the moment but I just love it. Finished 2 nearly 3 and 3 others are WIP Will get there :-)
